The Sustainable Plastics Agenda is established as the Mobilising Agenda for Plastics in Portugal, capable of leveraging the sector's transition to a circular economy.
Objetivos, atividades e resultados esperados/atingidos
The SUSTAINABLE PLASTICS Agenda aims to promote the plastics sector in Portugal towards the transition to an economy. It is an initiative of APIP - the Portuguese Plastics Industry Association, led by Logoplaste. Portuguese Plastics Industry Association, organised by Logoplaste Innovation Lab, which, through this programme, aims to mobilise the private sector together with national authorities, universities and citizens, contributing to the goals of the European Circular Economy goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, greater resource efficiency and job creation. The Agenda is organised into 7 Work Packages which, together, will promote the Green Transition of the Plastics Industry to the Circular Economy. To this purpose, the planned activities focus on 4 main axes, namely: (i) Circularity through Material Design; (ii) Circularity through the Design; (ii) Circularity through Product Design; (iii) Circularity through Recycling; and (iv) Circularity through Alternative Raw Materials.
