"Acesso ao Medicamento: Constrangimentos e Soluções” [Access to Medicines: bottlenecks and solutions] was the theme of reflection at the event held on 3 July 2023 at the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Pharmacy, an initiative promoted by the Lisbon Society of Medical Sciences and attended by Sérgio Simões, Vice President of Bluepharma.
During the event, problems were identified and solutions were discussed, at a time when some patients find it difficult to access medicines, an issue that needs to be adressed with increasing urgency.
Several leading figures from the pharmaceutical sector also took part in the event, including Rui Ivo, President of INFARMED, Hélder Mota Filipe, President of the Portuguese Pharmacists Association, and Beatriz Lima, Director of the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Pharmacy, among other guests.
