Cuidafarma and the member Pharmacy Groups, in partnership with Bluepharma, have joined efforts with Pharmacies, in cooperation with the Pharmacists’ Association, to provide support to Pharmacists who have fled the war in Ukraine and have found refuge in Portugal.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the competent entities and the Ukrainian community living in Portugal, we seek to help Pharmacy Technicians or other professionals with experience in the sector.
Over 50 pharmacies partnered to deliver approximately one hundred jobs for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who were affected by the war in Ukraine.
To ensure fast and full inclusion, the platform Cuidafarma Love Ukraine published a list of job offers, with a view to linking Pharmacy professionals from Ukraine who are seeking jobs with the existing offers at the partner Pharmacies.
This platform sought to address the main difficulties encountered by pharmacy professionals arriving in Portugal, by helping them to find jobs in pharmacies, learn the Portuguese language and find a place to live.
The Portuguese Pharmacists’ Association and other Ukrainian Pharmacists living in Portugal worked in close collaboration on this project.
