It is a great pleasure to share a new and important chapter in Bluepharma's history.
Twenty-five years ago, guided by dreams and ambition, we launched a journey that has enabled us to build a leading company with strong social responsibility and a major impact in Coimbra. This growth was only possible thanks to the incredible work of everyone who joined us, continuous investment in innovation and internationalisation, and solid partnerships that have always been focused on quality.
Today, we are ready to accelerate towards a new cycle of development. To this end, it is essential to strengthen the Group's leadership. Therefore, from January 2026, I will exclusively dedicate my energy to the role of Chairman of the Bluepharma Group, focusing on our strategic vision, innovation and on the future of Bluepharma.
The roles of CEO of Bluepharma Indústria Farmacêutica and Bluepharma Genéricos will be taken on, respectively, by Sérgio Simões and Miguel Silvestre, two highly competent and visionary professionals, co-founders of Bluepharma, who know the company and the sector's challenges inside out. They are certainly the right people to lead this new cycle of growth.
In 2026, we celebrate Bluepharma's 25th anniversary, we are also strengthening our strategic commitment with the inauguration of the new Complex Injectables Technology Centre, an investment that will create new opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth.
I would like to express a special thanks to Sérgio Simões and Miguel Silvestre, my long-time friends and colleagues, wishing them great success in this new mission. But I would also like to express my deep gratitude to all employees, as well as my colleagues in the Administration, who, over the past 25 years, joined me and contributed decisively to transform Bluepharma into what it is today.
For my part, I emphasise my commitment to Bluepharma, counting, as always, on everyone's trust and support.
