Bluepharma present at Coimbra Innovation-days (i-Days)

On November 23, 2018, in the auditorium of the Coimbra University Hospital CHUC), the initiative Coimbra Innovation- Days (i-Days) took place. This is an international action that took place in parallel with 21 other European partners, within the European EITHealth Network, which seeks to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the fi eld of health among higher education students (undergraduate, specialisation, masters and doctorate courses) and postdoctorates.

Coimbra i-Days promoted actions and training programmes dedicated to health innovation and the resolution of real problems in a hospital by multidisciplinary teams. The participants had the opportunity to resolve challenges presented by agents in the health fi eld, as well as bring their own business ideas to be tested and validated by innovation professionals. R & ID Director of Bluepharma, Cláudia Silva, participated in Coimbra I-Days as a mentor of the teams in training and was a member of the jury evaluating and awarding prizes at the event. To make participation in this initiative even more stimulating, the best idea received a monetary prize and access to the fi nals of the Innovation Days EIT Health at Imperial College (London).

The prize was awarded to the group (Un)Limited Future, which proposed a solution for monitoring psychological/ psychiatric episodes following inhospital consultation.
