The management of Bluepharma received from the Municipality of Coimbra, the Medal of Business Merit, Gold Degree, during the solemn session of the City of Coimbra Day, which was held on 4 July 2021.
The award that was received by Paulo Barradas Rebelo, president of Bluepharma as "a huge honor" and "with the same sense of responsibility that we have towards the company, the city, the country and society in general".
Highlighting, "We want to continue to develop Bluepharma, expanding the S. Martinho [do Bispo] factory, completing the one at Eiras, one of the most technological and highly sophisticated in the country, and projecting Bluepharma Park in Cernache as a key pharmaceutical cluster in Portugal and the world."
In the year that Bluepharma celebrated its 20th anniversary and is undertaking a large volume of investments in new spaces in the municipality of Coimbra, Paulo Barradas highlights that the award of the Medal of Business Merit "represents teamwork, innovation and entrepreneurship", but also "a lot of strategy". Speaking to the Diário de Coimbra, the CEO of Bluepharma states that the tribute of the Municipality of Coimbra "is dedicated to the employees".
