Within the scope of Bluepharma's sustainability policy, and framed in the internal Bluelinks program, the internal Blue is Green project was created, which aims to promote various actions that contribute to "Caring for the Good Health of the Planet".
Thus, on March 22, 2021, we marked World Water Day with an initiative that promotes reflection on water resources. In this awareness action, and to remember that water is a scarce commodity, we gave our employees a quiz with questions related to the responsible consumption and use of water, and we shared some messages for the adoption of good practices, within the logic of saving and rationalizing water consumption.
All Bluepharma employees who participated at this time were offered a recycled bamboo mug, with the aim of also contributing to the fight to reduce internally generated plastic waste, and thus foster the creation of an internal culture of responsible behavior, with a genuine environmental concern.
We remind people that water is a natural resource and essential to life, however it is distributed unevenly in time and space, which leads to 25% of the world's population not having water fit for consumption.
We believe that it is the small gestures that trigger great actions, and that together we will take the Blue is Green project further!
