The ceremony of the IV BEB | Bluepharma Award Poster took place on January 19, 2022, at the Auditorium of Polo II of the University of Coimbra, and was attended by the president of Bluepharma, Paulo Barradas Rebelo.
The BEB | Bluepharma Award Poster was awarded to Mariana Laranjo, distinguished by the poster entitled "Conditional deletion of Gprasp2 in PVpositive neurons drives hippocampal circuit alterations and cognitive dysfunction", and the evaluation was carried out by a panel of researchers from the CNC - Centro de Neurociências e Biologia Cell.
Bluepharma once again supported the BEB Day Meeting, organized by the students of the Doctoral Program in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine (BEB) at the University of Coimbra, which took place from the 18th to the 19th of January, with the theme “The Overview Effect - A cognitive shift in awareness about the reality of the Earth, a tiny, fragile ball of life…”. This edition brought together a multidisciplinary panel of national and international speakers, to discuss the effects of current global problems: Pollution and climate change on health.
