Bluepharma celebrated World Earth Day on 28 April 2023 with a talk entitled “Um Mar de Energia” [An ocean of energy] by Prof. Dr. José Lopes Almeida, which included a presentation of the project REEFS - Renewable Electric Energy from Sea.
Developed by a team from the University of Coimbra, this innovative device produces energy from waves – an invention that is already protected by an international patent.
