“Forests and health” was the theme chosen to commemorate World Tree Day and International Day of Forests on 21 March 2023. Bluepharma, of course, celebrated the day, given everything it has done and everything it still intends to do for people’s health and wellbeing.
We celebrated this day by planting another tree, which is added to the more than 6,000 trees planted over our 22 years of existence and marks the beginning of the reforestation of the entire licensed green area of the São Martinho do Bispo facility.
Under Bluepharma’s sustainability programme – Bluelinks – in the environmental vector, we estimate that the Bluepharma Forest contributes to decarbonisation by sequestering around 132 tonnes of CO2 per year.
